1. What VetTheLet is

VetTheLet is a platform where tenants share reviews of rental properties, rooms and their renting experience. By using the site you agree to these terms, our Content Policy, our Privacy Policy and our Disclaimer. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Your account

You need a verified account to post reviews or add properties. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything posted from your account. You must be at least 18 to use VetTheLet.

3. Your content

You are responsible for what you post. Reviews must reflect your honest, first-hand experience of a property you have actually lived in. You must not post content that is false, defamatory, abusive, discriminatory, or that identifies private individuals without their consent. See the Content Policy for full rules.

By posting, you give VetTheLet a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and distribute your content on the platform. You keep ownership of it, and you can delete your own reviews at any time from your profile.

4. Moderation and removal

We may remove any content or suspend any account at our discretion, including following a report, a legal complaint, or a breach of these terms. We do not pre-approve reviews and we do not verify their accuracy.

5. Liability

Reviews are the opinions of their authors, not of VetTheLet. The site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, VetTheLet is not liable for decisions made on the basis of content found on the site, for the accuracy of reviews, or for any indirect loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

6. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
